    ALL CRITERIA MENTIONED IN THE AWARDS WILL FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES BELOW:
    • GPA is Overall College GPA
    • Junior standing is having completed (by Sept. 2005) at least 56 hours towards graduation
    • Sophomore standing is having completed (by Sept. 2005) at least 26 hours towards graduation
    • Apparel Merchandising Majors must be declared majors and must be certified into the College for more than one semester prior to application
    • All applications MUST BE SUBMITTED by application deadline
    • All information reported on applications will be deemed accurate by the applicant
    • Information reported on the application will be verified
    • All students receiving awards must be enrolled as a student at Indiana University in the spring of 2006
    • All awards must be credited to the student's Bursar Account. If there is no balance in that account, the award will be given to the student as a refund

    Monetary Value: $500

    Financial Need: No requirement
    Specific Majors: Apparel Merchandising major
    Academic Criteria: 3.0 Overall College GPA
    Specific Class: Junior or Senior standing
    Specific Criteria: Student must have strong leadership experience in either work or school
    Selection Committee: MERC Scholarship Committee and Famous Barr representative

    Consideration: By application only (through general Asia Field Seminar Award form)

    Specific Majors: Apparel Merchandising major or minor, or Costume Construction Technology major
    Specific Class: Undergraduate or graduate student accepted into Asia Field Seminar
    Specific Criteria: Student must be accepted into and attend the seminar to receive the award. Award will be applied to the final payment of the trip. Award is based on leadership, class participation and proven interest in professional development as well as student's Personal Statement.
