    Apparel Merchandising Organization

    The Apparel Merchandising Organization (AMO) is one of the largest student groups on campus. The focus of AMO is preparing members to successfully gain knowledge about and placement in the retail industry. Through monthly and annual activities, members are given a variety of opportunities to participate.

    Professors Janis Shaffer and Eloise Paul serve as the faculty sponsors.

    Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) is an organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1600 campuses worldwide. SIFE offers students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning, practicing and teaching the principles of free enterprise. The Indiana SIFE team teaches important comcepts through educational outreach projects including market economics, entrepreneurship, personal and financial success and business ethics to better themelves, their community and the country. Once a year SIFE teams from the area congreate at the regional competition to present their hard work. The Indiana SIFE team won Regional Champions in 2006 and presented at SIFE Nationals in Kansas City.
