E104 Essay Grading Sheet
The linked grading sheet delineates the major areas of your essay that were evaluated in order to determine your overall essay grade. The grading sheet is intended to give the student a more precise understanding of the essay's areas of weaknesses and strengths, as well as being an aid to the grader to insure a more uniform methodology in assigning final essay grades.
The "Student Evaluation" section may be completed by the student on a voluntary basis prior to handing in the completed essay, and will help the grader in providing constructive feedback. Individual category ratings are based on a scale of 0 (lowest) to 4 (highest).
If you are rewriting a paper, please submit the original paper and grading sheet along with your rewritten version and a new grading sheet.
Please print out the grading sheet and attach it as a separate page to the end of your paper.
