About the Center
What We Do
The study of animal behavior naturally crosses boundaries between biology, psychology, neural science, anthropology, and related disciplines. CISAB's primary goal is to foster the integrative study of animal behavior by facilitating interaction between members of these and other departments at Indiana University.
The Center administers an internationally-recognized academic Program in Animal Behavior for both graduate and undergraduate students. Our Animal Behavior Laboratory provides equipment, expert training, and essential services to researchers at an affordable cost. We also sponsor invited speakers, workshops, an annual regional conference, and other activities that bring researchers together to share their ideas.
CISAB and the academic Program in Animal Behavior are supported by the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and private donors. Please contact us if you would like to make a donation!
