The Center for the Integrative Study of Animal Behavior and the Department of Biology is pleased to host the 2001 International Hamilton Symposium, in conjunction with an interdisciplinary graduate seminar taught by conference organizers Curt Lively and Michael Wade. Invited guest speakers are: Marlene Zuk (University of California-Riverside), Paul Schmid-Hempel (ETH, Zurich), Andrew F. Read (University of Edinburgh), and Steven A. Frank (University of California-Irvine). Speakers from Indiana University are Michael Wade (Department of Biology), Curt Lively (Department of Biology), and Elisabeth A. Lloyd (History & Philosophy of Science). Topics include levels of selection, kin selection in particular, and parasite-mediated selection for sex and mate choice.
