Specific techniques performed in the lab (or in collaboration with partner labs at IU) include: hormone extraction, EIA, RIA, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, sequencing, microsatellite genotyping and RFLP/SNP genotyping.
