* Hanna Kolodziejski Fellowship Nominations
The Department of Biology and the Center for the Integrative Study of Animal Behavior (CISAB) at Indiana University established a fellowship in Hanna's name in the spring of 2009. This Hanna Kolodziejski Fellowship is an annual award for a Biology or CISAB graduate student who shows academic talent in both research and teaching, while demonstrating a commitment to the community through community service or outreach programs. The fellowship is open to all CISAB and Department of Biology graduate students, with a preference given to members of CISAB and Evolution, Ecology & Behavior (EEB) students.
Faculty can nominate someone for each year's award, please send a letter of nomination to CISAB @ indiana.edu no later than February 10th, 2011.
More information on the fellowship can be found at the following website: CLICK HERE
* Student/Postdoc Travel Awards
To apply for up to $400 to present your research at national or international meetings, please send an email note to cisab (at) indiana.edu including a brief description of the meeting you plan to attend, your proposed budget, and a copy of the abstract you intend to present. Also, please ask two CISAB core faculty to send email notes confirming that they support your application. Requests for both partial and full funding of individual speakers will be considered at any time of the year. Requests for groups of speakers (e.g., a mini-symposium or A501 course) will be solicited twice yearly (summer and late Fall.)
