The Director of Graduate Studies, Beverly Stoeltje, coordinates and oversees the graduate program. The DGS advises students on degree requirements, coordinates and often supervises committees that award departmental honors and grants, ensures that paperwork is submitted for degree requirements, and on occasion provides career guidance and advice to graduate students.
Graduate applicants who are US citizens or permanent residents should mail all paper applications, transcripts and references to the department. The deadline for domestic applicants is January 15.
