Fall 2013 Welcome Reception
Welcome to the fall semester APAFSC colleagues!
I hope your new semester is off to a great start. The mission of the Asian Pacific American Faculty and Staff Council is to provide leadership in promoting the development of Asian Pacific American faculty and staff at all eight campuses of Indiana University. The Council serves as a public forum for raising issues of major concern in the Asian Pacific American academic community and working with university administrations to address these. We welcome Vice President Dr. Whimbush to his new leadership role as the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs (DEMA). We look forward to working with his office for an exciting year of advocacy and activities of APA interests for faculty and staff here at IU Bloomington. Our Fall Welcome Reception takes place Friday, October 11that Asian Culture Center from 5pm-7pm. We look forward to meet with you then. If you wish to serve on any of the APAFSC committee, please let us know.
