Each year 60-70 students serve others by participating in internships in Bloomington, in their home towns, and around the world. Most of our interns work in non-profit agencies and do not receive a salary. All of our interns write journals reflecting on what they are learning and receive guidance from their site supervisors and their faculty supervisors. They work at hospitals, camps, crisis centers, non-profits, businesses and government agencies providing invaluable services and at the same time fulfilling a requirement for their degree. Applied Health Science interns carry the mission of our department in a very tangible way to the people of Indiana, the nation, and the world (see Current Internship Lists).
