Health Promotion (M.S.)

Health promotion strives to enable individuals and communities to increase control over and improve their health. To achieve that goal, the master's program in health promotion prepares students to serve as health educators and health promotion specialists in educational, clinical, occupational, and community settings. Emphasizing health education strategies in a variety of settings, the program ensures that graduates are capable of managing a diverse array of health education programs. Students also take courses in statistics, measurement, and evaluation in health education, and courses that provide opportunities for graduates to apply their knowledge to their work.
