Letter From Our President

Greetings from the 73rd House of Alpha!

We greatly appreciate the time you have set aside to visit our site. The Gamma Eta chapter prides itself in being the oldest undergraduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in the State of Indiana; however, we recognize that the A on our chest is no greater than the next brothers.

We have established a respectable legacy within Alpha and on our campus of Indiana University Bloomington. Leading the way in scholarship, leadership, service, and innovation, our chapter has recaptured the true brand of Alpha men.

“If you can walk with crowds and keep your virtue; Or walk with kings-nor lose the common touch…”

As we have led our chapter into its 64th year, we hope to inspire leadership and ambition, not only within the brotherhood, but around our campus community.  Through high quality programs and events we look to take our audience to new heights and give them a sense of sophistication, integrity, and excellence.

Message from the Glorious Gamma Eta Chapter

The Distinguished Gentlemen of Alpha Phi Alpha are the creme de la creme. The elite. The blue-blooded gentry. The far-seeing, hardworking, upper percentile of men that figuratively nestle themselves into distinct parts of the sky to illuminate the world beneath them. The Alpha network functions like your circulatory system, supplying voice and vision straight to the heart of virtually every major city in the United States and branching out to metropolises abroad.

Alpha Phi Alpha Membership is *highly coveted* as it places men into one of the richest networks and one of the greatest legacies ever established. Thus, only a select few are so privileged to earn the right to see the LIGHT.
