Data Description Information

              Look at the attached spreadsheet of Old Kingdom pharaohs.  The data are currently stored in an inefficient flat file format.  Using the techniques described in the classes on database design reconfigure these data to fit in a relational database model.

              First build entity relationship diagrams to model split the data into logical entities and attributes.  Next use Microsoft Access to build the necessary tables and fields – make sure that each table has a primary key field.  Build data entry forms to allow you to enter the data.  Finally test your data design by entering the data into your newly created database.
