Course Goals
Course Goals At the end of the course, the student should be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the research, interpretation, and concepts of landscape archaeology; Communicate in written and oral form a research design and public interpretive plan for an archaeological site; Discuss critically current issues in landscape archaeology and compare theoretical and methodological approaches to landscape studies; Locate and utilize the basic sources for landscape archaeology including library, internet and professional organizations; Research, develop, design, and fabricate a small exhibit on landscape archaeology using PowerPoint, working in collaboration with other members of the class.
