- Architectural styles of the neighborhood residences
- History of a specific property or area of the neighborhood
- Wishard
- Isaac Wilson and Samuel Patterson mill
- Ball Nurses Garden
- Beauty Street
- Mary Cable School
- Crispus Attucks School
- Ransom Place neighborhood (possible focus on the preservation efforts of Jean Spears)
- History of water in the neighborhood (floods, water engineering, filling of the flood
plane, current sewer issues, etc.)
- Changing ethnicity/demographics
- Vernacular gardens/yardscapes
- Riots (1876)
- Corner stores
- Archaeological study (possibly multiple panels each focusing on a different dig or a
different aspect of the material culture recovered)
- Lot history and research design for 2003 excavation (panel could be used to support
public program at the site)
