Directions for Designing an Exhibit Panel Using PowerPoint
This is now your blank canvas. You have to stay within these lines, but other than that you can do almost anything. (Note font and point size specifications on the assignment handout). 7. Commands to create your designs are fairly simple, but too complicated to spell out all the options here. You will mainly be inserting items such as text boxes, pictures, and possibly other files (tables, etc.) and then formatting them. I will go over some basics in class (4/8/03). The "help" button is an option or looking at a manual. Most importantly, play around with the options, keep in mind your central objectives (what is your main message and how can it be communicated visually), and have fun with it! Notes:
