Silvia Roca-Martínez has been awarded the Latino Studies Dissertation Fellowship for 2012-13 to work on her dissertation entitled: "From the Private to the Public: Gender, Nation, and Counter-Memory in Memoirs by late 20th Century Hispanic Women Writers."
