Michael Larsen named Simons Fellow

The Simons Foundation has named Mathematics Distinguished Professor Michael Larsen a Simons Fellow in Mathematics. The Simons Foundation has funded 40 fellowships in mathematics and 20 fellowships in theoretical physics to provide a semester long research leave from classroom teaching and administrative obligations. Professor Larsen will use his fellowship during the academic year 2013-2014.
