Many freshmen have no access to cars, thus, this section is devoted to transportation by bus. During your first week here there are three bus routes available. E bus, however, would be able to get you to most places you need to go to. 

Beyond the campus area, the Kirkwood area has plenty of restaurants and shops. College Mall has shopping malls and department stores, and one favorite store for freshmen is Target, which has basically everything you need to get started staying in the dorms.

First Day supplies! You can get them at Target at College Mall (C Bus) or go for Midnight Madness later on.

1) Blanket and Bed Sheets : Twin Size should be fine.
2) Personal Care supplies: Toothbrush and Toothpaste, etc.
3) Laundry supplies: Detergent, Fabric softener sheets for Dryers (less mess and better suited for dorm laundry machines)
4) Telephone
5) Pens, notebooks and other stationary
6) Cookies and other Snack foods.
7) Plastic Glasses or mugs for drinks
8) Computer Users should go to front desk to ask for network setup software and package
