About Us:
The Asian Student Union was formed in 1995 by the leaders of Asian
student associations for the purpose of fostering closer
relationships and working together to share resources and provide a
synergy of ideas. We are currently a union of
21 organizations.

Mission
To unify the Asians and Asian Pacific Americans at IU, as well as their allies.
To advocate on behalf of these constituents in issues affecting IU and the
broader community.
Goals
To facilitate collaboration among the Asian student groups at
Indiana University.
To ensure that the Asian and Asian Pacific American perspective is
represented at every level on the IU campuses.
To promote leadership among the Asian and Asian Pacific American community.

- Expand the Asian Culture Center
- Grow more resources for member organizations to use
- Work more closely with IUSA Diversity Chairs, Union Board,
Asian Culture Center, International Center, and the Asian Alumni
