Tribute to Jeremy Ferguson

Early in the fall of 2007, The Golden Voice of the Marching Hundred, Jeremy Ferguson, passed away in an automobile accident near his home in Tennessee. A 1993 graduate of Indiana University, Jeremy had served as the Golden Voice of the Marching Hundred for over 10 years.

A devoted husband, and huge IU fan, Jeremy's witty scripts and "bigger than life" voice were staples of the Marching Hundred. His devotion to IU was evident by the fact he drove to IU from Atlanta (and later Clarksville, TN) for almost every home football game.

A popular radio voice and program director, Jeremy played baritone in the Marching Hundred and Big Red Basketball Band during his undergraduate days. During the 1992 season, Jeremy played the role of "Jake Blues" during the Marching Hundred's tribute to the Blues Brothers:

We thank Jeremy for all he did for IU and for the Marching Hundred. He will be missed, but not forgotten!!
