Greetings from Bloomington!
Our Indiana Hoosiers take on the Broncos from Western Michigan this Saturday at noon. This game is Band Day '09, with 16 high school bands joining the Hundred for halftime entertainment. We look forward to Band Day each year, and are VERY happy to have many of our veteran bands (and band directors) back in Bloomington this Saturday.
The Walk to the Rock is now scheduled to start approximately 2:15 before kickoff. You can hear the Hundred in concert on the West steps of Assembly Hall. Come and cheer on our football Hoosiers as they arrive for game day.
We are VERY close to the debut of our new Marching Hundred Gear webpage! Soon, our band fans and friends will be able to purchase t-shirts, hats, CDs and other Hundred items on a webpage dedicated to you, our fans. We will have a downloadable form for you to fill out and send in with payment (credit cards will not be possible at first). As soon as we have clearance to release the website, we'll let you know in a future edition of this newsletter. Thanks for your incredible support during our first game on September 3. The tailgate gang was out in force and boy did they put on a spread! We thank them for their continued hard work and we look forward to seeing ALL of you at an IU football game in the near future!
