Marching Hundred RedStepper (Dance line) Clinic and Auditions

NOTE: Bloomington is now on Eastern Daylight time - - so, we are always with Louisville, New York, and Orlando! We are always one hour ahead of Chicago, Champaign, and Nashville, TN!

RedStepper Clinic

Join with members of last year's RedStepper Dance Team in a one-day clinic designed to prepare you for the RedStepper auditions. The clinic (10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) will cover stretching, warm-ups, and basic dance steps used by the RedSteppers. In addition, you will be taught the dance routine to one of the school fight songs. You may wear whatever you'd like for the clinic, but the audition clothing requirements will be form-fitting dance clothing and dance shoes.

This year, we will be holding two audition dates - April 26 at 4:00 p.m. in the Intercollegiate Athletics Gym, and again on August 26 in the IU (Gladstein) Fieldhouse (adjacent to the Assembly Hall). If you choose to audition in April and are accepted, you will not have to attend the audition session in August. If you choose to audition in April and are not accepted at that time, we encourage you to attend the August audition.

After the morning clinic session, there will be a break and then the 1st set of auditions will be held at 4:00 p.m. You may choose to audition for the RedSteppers either on the 26th of April, or during our Band Camp audition on August 26. Even if you plan NOT to audition for the 2008 RedSteppers during the afternoon audition period, we encourage you to attend the morning clinic session.

--> The RedStepper clinic is open to all prospective members (high school and transfer students) and current IU students. There is NO charge for this clinic session; however, we do ask you to pre-register for the session below.
