Edward J. Anderson (Class of '04) Though still very young, Edward has had a very broad career in Television. In college, he was a Marketing Intern for Turner Broadcasting. Upon graduation, Edward almost landed the job of his dreams. He was the #2 candidate out of 800 applicants for a special entry-level Marketing position at Cartoon Network. He learned he didn't receive the position a week after graduation. This terrible dissapointment taught him just how hard working in an industry as popular as television marketing really is. Relentless, Edward moved to Atlanta to become a Temp for Turner Broadcasting. After working multiple short-term assignments, Edward served as the Regional Sales and Marketing Assistant for Time Warner Cable in Cleveland, Ohio. Today, Edward works for HBO as an Account Coordinator within the Affiliate Relations Department in New York City. He describes it as the place where sales and marketing meet at the network level. |
