Hoosier Guitar Idol
Attention all guitarists! It's that time of year again to show off your mad soloing skills at the 4th Annual Hoosier Guitar Idol!
What: Hoosier Guitar Idol - Battle of Bloomington's Best Guitarists
When: 7-10 PM, January 25, 2010
Where: Max's Place - 109 West 7th Street
Format:
Round 1
- Each contestant will play a 2-4 minute solo performance
- Effects pedals allowed
- No loops pedals
- Amp is provided or you may bring your own
- Audience votes determint who goes on to round 2
- Top eight (8) scores will advance to round 2
Round 2
- Backed by house band
- Contestants will be narrowed down to 4, then 4 narrowed down to final 2.
- Final round scores will determine the winner
- Effects pedals allowed
- No loops pedals
- Amp is provided
- Can only bring your own Acoustic amp
Prizes:
- Winner will receive $250 cash
- Runner-up will receive $50 cash
*House band will be comprised of drummer, bass and keys.
