Benefiting Dr. Music's Little Band School

     For the past 6 years, the BCEC has hosted this event to raise money for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. This year we decided to raise money for a new cause - DMLBS - which is a program that "teaches kids piano, guitar, bass, drums and voice in a band setting. Students learn to write music and rehearse together." Kids learn how to read notes, play different instruments, and then form bands which as they develop go out and play in the community. Programs like these are especially important now with budget cuts really nailing the arts.
