ScriptTease: Expose Yourself

ScriptTease presents you the unique opportunity to have your script selected, made into a full length film, and gain exposure for yourself and your talents.  Indiana University and the BCEC have an unbelievable wealth of resources to enable your script to be brought to life on the big screen.  Our resources include:

  • An incredible array of contacts with entertainment industry professionals from coast to coast, including many IU Alumni
  • Actors from the world-renowned IU Department of Theatre and Drama
  • Composers from the IU Jacobs School of Music (#1 in the nation)
  • Professional crew members from the IU Department of Telecommunications (#5 in the nation)
  • Marketing and finance experts from the IU Kelley School of Business (in the top 10 undergraduate business schools in the nation)
  • Directors from the IU Department of Communication and Culture

The ScriptTease: Expose Yourself contest will be the first time all these resources will collaborate to make a full length feature film; this alliance and the movie it produces will be an extraordinary opportunity for your screenplay to be seen.

The winning author will receive a minimum of a $250 cash prize.  There is a $15 submission fee for each applicant, from which the grand prize is funded.  The more contestants who apply, the larger the grand prize will be.  Only one winner will be selected.

All contestants should submit a treatment and a screenplay for a full length feature film.  The screenplay should be no longer than 180 pages (or roughly 3 hours of screen time).  All full length scripts will be considered, regardless of genre or subject matter.

To submit your treatment and screenplay, print off the submission materials packet from this webpage and follow the instructions listed on the second page of the packet.  Contest details are contained in the packet.  Any questions or comments?  Email ScriptTease.BCEC@gmail.com

Deadline: Friday, December 15, 2006

Thank you for all your submissions!

ScriptTease Winner: Jason Feffer
