Employment Opportunity for Postdocs

Postdoctoral Fellow - Molecular mechanisms of pathogenic microbe-host interactions. The Marketon lab has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher. Candidates must have a PhD, MD, or equivalent. A strong background in immunology is required. Expertise in microbiology, biochemistry, and mouse manipulations is helpful. The candidate is expected to work in BSL2 and BSL3 labs to study the microbe-host interaction during plague infection. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, independent, and capable of multi-tasking and working well with others. Support for the position is available for up to two years, after which the candidate will be expected to obtain external funding. Salary commensurate with qualifications, full benefits included.
