Dr. Gabriel Wrobel
Gabriel Wrobel is a professor of Anthropology at the University of Mississippi. He received his Bachelors degree in Anthropology at Emory University in 1993 and recently completed his doctoral degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. Dr. Wrobel began his association with BVAR as a field school student in 1993 and 1994, before beginning his graduate work at the site of Chauhiix, located in northern Belize. A bioarchaeologist by training, his research focuses mainly on biological and cultural data derived from skeletal populations related to the health, genetic structure, and social organization of ancient Maya groups.
