1. Creating a QuizSite Account

Any instructor that has a valid IU Network ID can open an account with QuizSite by following the steps outlined below.

  1. Connect to QuizSite
    QuizSite is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the following URL:
    https://www.indiana.edu/~best/cgi-bin/quizsite/instructors.pl
    In some cases, when you first connect to the site a warning message appears notifying you that the communication with the server is secure. Click Continue and the login screen will come to your browser.

  2. Type your username, network password, and click Login.

  3. On the new screen, check the radio button next to Create First Account and then click Proceed.

    (If you are an AI or secretary who has been granted authoring privileges by an instructor, you should instead select the course from the pull-down menu and click Proceed to view the Main Menu.)

  4. Read the notice on the screen that follows and, if you agree with it, type your course number (for example Z201) and click I Agree.

  5. You now have a first account. On the next screen you are given two options:

    This will be the screen that you will see when you login from now on. If you select the first option you will be taken to the Main Menu screen.

  1. Select one of the radio buttons to work as:
  2. Select the course (or departmental account) from the menu next to that radio button.
  3. Click Proceed. You will then see the Main Menu.

4. Displaying Course Statistics

  1. Select "Delete course accounts or display course statistics" and click Proceed. You will see a table of your courses, with the following column headings:
  2. Select courses to delete and click the Delete button.
  3. To go back, click Cancel.

5. Deleting Courses

  1. You should see the courses which you selected from the previous screen.
  2. To delete these courses, click Delete.
  3. To go back, click Cancel.
