Welcome to the Bloomington Faculty Council Homepage! The Bloomington Faculty Council consists of an elected body of members responsible for exercising faculty authority for the Bloomington campus. Faculty governance at Indiana University has a unique history. I invite you to involve yourself in faculty governance at IU by attending our meetings, reading the minutes from meetings, and voting in council elections. We're looking forward to another productive year for the BFC and I hope to see you at one of our gatherings.

Faculty Council Elections

Nominations for 2013-2014 are done electronically. Nominations are now open as of Wednesday May 8th, and will close at 5:00PM, Wednesday, May 22nd. To fill out and submit your electronic ballot, please go here. Note that you will need to log in with your IU id and passphrase. If you are unable to log in, please close, then reopen your browser. For those faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences, please remember that you may cast a ballot in all sections of the College, not just your own, as per Section 5.5.A.1 of the Constitution of the Bloomington Faculty of Indiana University.
