  2. Can I nominate only untenured faculty for at-large nominations?
  3. What does "At-Large" mean?
  4. What if I'm in the College of Arts and Sciences and don't want to nominate for every unit?

  6. If I log out of the electronic nominations system, will my selections be saved?
  7. Why can't I nominate fewer nominees than are specified in a given unit?

Answers:

  1. Only faculty eligible for election or reelection are listed. If you believe the name you are searching for was omitted by mistake, please check the list of faculty ineligible for re-election in Circular B9-2013.
  2. In the at-large nominations section, you may nominate tenured or untenured faculty; however, there is also an Untenured Faculty At-Large Nomination.
  3. "At-Large" BFC Representatives serve to represent the College of Arts and Sciences, rather than their particular unit.
  4. Unit nominations in the College of Arts and Sciences are set up to allow faculty to nominate only from units they wish to nominate candidates.
  5. Currently, the nominations process only allows for reviewing of each individual section before submitting it. Please review your nominations before submitting each section.
  6. All selections are saved once initially submitted. If a nominations ballot is incomplete, selections are stored in the system. You may log back in and complete your nominations as long as the system is available.
  7. Twice the number of seats up for election per unit are nominated during a nomination cycle. The electronic voting currently does not allow for fewer than the specified number of nominations to be submitted.
  8. Do all three sections need to be completed
