Allison Crone graduated in the spring with a B.S. in Biology and minors in English, chemistry, and psychology. She conducted research in Associate Professor David Basile’s lab at the IU School of Medicine, studying the effects of adipose-derived stromal cells on kidney capillary density following acute kidney injury. During her undergraduate career, Allison earned an IU Excellence Scholarship, was a College of Arts and Sciences Scholar, and an IU Founders Scholar. She was a member of the Honors College and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation’s oldest academic honor society in existence. Allison will start medical school in the fall at the IU School of Medicine.
