Drew Schwartz Fellowship

Established by Professor Drew Schwartz, who served on our faculty for over 40 years.

Eligible:

  • An IUB Department of Biology final-year graduate student who is pursuing a Ph.D. in Genome, Cell, and Developmental Biology.
  • In order to be considered, the nominee’s dissertation research MUST be on fundamental genetic phenomena.
  • Nominee MUST be enrolled in Biology G901 Advanced Research during the Spring 2015 Semester.

Award:

This fellowship will be awarded periodically as funds accrue. Funding for the Spring 2015 semester will be offered.

Notes:

This fellowship is not open for student applications. Whenever funds are available, faculty will receive an email during the fall semester asking them to nominate qualified students.
