Evolution, Ecology & Behavior Graduate Program
The Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior Program (EEB) at Indiana University is widely recognized as one of the very best in its discipline in the world. Our faculty and students pursue exciting and cutting edge research in a wide range of subdisciplines spanning every level of biological organization. Our greatest asset is the integrative and cooperative nature of our program that leads to research and training at the interface of traditionally distinct fields.
The EEB faculty genuinely enjoy their science and believe that research and teaching can and should be rigorous and fun at the same time. Students are encouraged to interact with a range of faculty and laboratory groups from the moment they arrive. Such interactions often develop into diverse training and form the basis for the kinds of collaborative research that our students typically pursue. A central goal of our graduate program is to foster an open learning environment wherein students can acquire the skills and perspectives necessary to pursue their own creative endeavors.
The training philosophy and coursework in the EEB program emphasize conceptual and theoretical foundations of evolutionary, ecological and behavioral questions that will best prepare students for a range of professional careers. I encourage you to explore our website to learn what the EEB program can provide you as a graduate training program.
