Alfred Parson Mower Award

Established by Tracy L. Lawhon Parrott in 2011 in memory of her grandfather, Alfred Parson Mower, who funded her undergraduate education.

Eligible:

Open to select undergraduate students with a declared major from the IUB Department of Biology.

Criteria:

Candidates must be U.S. residents, be entering their Junior or Senior year, must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0, and a science GPA of 3.0 or better. Not sure you are a U.S. resident?  See the Rules Determining Resident and Nonresident Student Status on the Registrar’s website.

Award:

$500

Special Application Materials:

Submit all materials listed on the application instructions.

A letter of support must be submitted separately by a faculty member.
