ForumsBecome a Black Student Union Member by Getting Involved!Interested students can become a member of the Black Student Union by showing vested interest in the BSU by participating in at least 3 BSU events (excluding mass meetings). There dozens of opportunities to earn membership annually. Members are invited to special members only events, given special discounts to BSU events, and earn the rights to elect the next Black Student Union leaders. Free Membership PointsFor participation in the community, Black Student Union awards one BSU membership point for membership in any of the Black student organizations listed on the Black Student Union page. Presidents of all Black student organizations are awarded two of the three membership points for their leadership.
Earn Points on CommitteeVolunteer individually or join the Educational, Social, Publicity, or Community Service committees by email the committee heads. Their info can be found on the Exec page. Committees help plan and execute BSU events.
