The Barn.   Originally built by the Bradford Family for farming purposes, the horse barn now serves as a large activity area for guests and programs at Bradford Woods.  During the summer months, this area is also home to therapeutic riding horses which are used in our camp programs.

Low Ropes Course.  This activity area is used as part of a sequenced program beginning with ground-based initiatives. Activities proceed to one of our four low ropes challenge courses that are designed 2 feet or lower to the ground and require group spotting technigues as the mechanism for safety. Such activities include The Spider's Web (pictured - groups pass each other through the holes in the web), The Wild Woozy (a pair uses each other to move along a the v-shaped cable), and The Muse (groups work together to move from one side to the other while standing along boards connecting staggered tree stumps).

Pamper Platform Leap. While standing at 30', participants will be challenged to take the leap while being safely belayed using harness, helmet and rope. Relocated and reconstructed in July 2008, this activity is a great culmination of a progressive program beginning with initiatives and low ropes.

High Pole Course.  This 20' high course built on telephone poles uses a continuous belay system (harness, helmet, and rope). Participants will take on the challenge of the HighWild Woozy (just like the LowWild Woozy, but higher), The Grapevine (use the vines and foot cable to move across this element), The Dangling Duo (a pair works together to climb the ladder as high as possible), or the Matted Bridge (participants will move across the matted bridge from one side to the other). This even is included in full or multi-day programs that progress from initiatives and low ropes.

Climbing Tower.  At 40' high, this traditional climbing tower offers four levels of difficulty. Participants are coached to keep each other safe while using a team belay system. This event is used either with progressive initiatives and low ropes program or as a stand-alone program.

Zip Line.  The 150' long line is a thrilling ride from the top of the climbing tower. Participants will climb one side of the climbing tower and end at the zip line platform to be transferred to the zip line tether. This activity is a great stand-alone or paired with a climbing tower program.

Alpine Tower.  At 50' tall, this event is an outstanding new addition to Bradford Woods as of April 2008! Participants will choose their journey through this vertical pole course. Event choices may include The Swinging Logs, Corporate Ladder, Missing Link, Swaying Log, or High Wild Woozy. This event is included in full or multi-day programs that progress from initiatives and low ropes. Because of high staff to participant ratios, this event entails an addtional cost.

Swing-By-Choice.  A fantastic adrenaline rush! Participants will take on the challenge to swing from up to 30' high. This event can be used along with the Climbing Tower, the Alpine Tower or as a stand-alone event.
