Adventure Education

At Bradford Woods, Adventure Education seeks to provide innovative learning opportunities that enable individuals, groups, organizations, and communities to maximize their potential. These programs may focus on team and community development, interpersonal reflection, personal skill growth, outdoor technical skills, leadership and therapeutic intervention. Professionally trained instructors facilitate participants through challenge courses and adventure-based activities.

"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot."
Eleanor Roosevelt

US diplomat & reformer (1884 - 1962)

Adventure education uses unique situations and purposeful activities to provide an environment for learning. Specific activity sequences and program designs are created based on the group's desired outcomes. Our goal at Bradford Woods is to create a safe simulated environment where learning may transfer directly to the school, community, home, or workplace.

In the safe environment provided by Bradford Woods’ Adventure Education, we provide opportunities for growth in the areas of Leadership, Adventure Learning, Business Community, Consulting, and Challenge-Based Intervention programming areas. We can customize our programming to meet your needs.
