Resources for Connect Participants
Indiana University offers Connect Meeting to faculty and staff who want to use Web collaboration in their administrative meetings and academic classes. If you have been invited to participate in a Connect meeting, you may find the resources on this page useful.
Note: Connect is a Web collaboration tool distributed by Adobe. When IU originally purchased the software, it was owned by Macromedia, who named the product Breeze. In 2005, Adobe bought Macromedia and soon after changed the name of the product from Breeze to Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional. You're likely to hear it called Breeze and Connect interchangeably.
Breeze Participant Resources
- Test your computer to make sure that you are set up with all of the tools you will need to participate in the meeting.
- Download the Connect Meeting Add-in for Windows or Macintosh Operating Systems. This is an optional plugin that will allow Connect to run in its own window instead of within your browser window. It provides an enhanced environment for attending a Connect meeting.
- Review Adobe's Connect Meeting User Guide for Meeting Participants to get more information on Connect from a meeting participant perspective.
