Choose between a basic, guided, advanced, publication or natural language search
Guided searches are good if information about a particular company, industry,
product, person or geographic region is desired
There is a Field for Company/Organization and most industries can be used
in the Subject field
Keywords such as Trends, Future, Prediction or Forecast can help limit
the search
The Article Type and Publication Type can also be specified
If the article needs to be from an Academic Journal, check the Peer
Review box
There is also a box to check if only Full text articles are needed
Enter a date range
Click on Search

Select Business
Select the Industry & Market section
Choose the Industry related to the search from the pull down box
Enter keywords(such as product names or company names, etc...) in the box
Enter other terms or keywords(such as trends,projections, predictions,
forecasts, etc...) to narrow the search in the Narrow Search box
Select a predefined date from the pull down box or enter a date range for
the search
Click on the Search button

Results from searching Business & Industry will probably generate the
best results, but you can search all 3 at the same time
Some fields and concepts do change from database to database, so
searching each database individually may yield better and more results
Check the Business & Industry box and click on Start
Go to the Concept Terms section
Trends is one of the concept terms
Scroll down and Highlight it
To select more than just Trends, scroll up or down to find the next term
to add
Hold down the Control key and click on it
To find trends in an industry, go to the industry selction and
Highlight the industry to be searched
A company name can be typed in to search for trends within a company
Keywords can also be added to narrow the search
A Geographic Region can also be specified by going to the Geo Region
section at the bottom of the page
After all the search items have been entered, click on Search

Select Industries from the menu bar at the top.
You can select an industry by using the drop down menu located under the
heading Industry Surveys
Or, you could search by company which will retrieve information for that
industry
