CAHI Global Gateway Grants

CAHI Global Gateway Grants are administered jointly by the College Arts & Humanities Institute and the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs (OVPIA). For College faculty whose primary area of research or creative activity is in the arts and humanities, these grants support activities that take place at one or more of IU’s Global Gateways (currently, in Beijing, Berlin and New Delhi).

Preference is given to proposals for activities that will lead to continuing research or creative collaborations, build on existing or create new strategic partnerships, or that promote institutional development projects. Appropriate activities include conferences, workshops or creative performances that feature international collaboration.

Applicants should first review the facilities available at the relevant Gateway. For help with budgeting the appropriate amount for local hospitality, transportation, and lodging, please contact the Bloomington-based Director of IU International Gateway Offices, Alexander (Ally) Batten, abatten@iu.edu.
