The prominent Canadian writer Katherine Govier, author of the recent bestselling novel The Printmaker's Daughter (HarperCollins, 2011; published as The Ghost Brush in Canada), will give a public reading at the College Arts & Humanities Institute on Friday April 20, at 4 p.m. Critics have hailed the novel as "lavishly researched and brilliant" (starred review in Publisher's Weekly). The visit is sponsored by CAHI, the English Department, and the Friends of Art.
