The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Zachary Lockman, Professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at New York University, titled “Adventures in Field-Building: On the Origins and Trajectory of Middle East Studies in the United States.”

The lecture is open to the public and will be followed immediately by a reception.
