“Imag(in)ing Science” is a series of events centered on an exhibit of collaborative projects to be presented at the Grunwald Gallery August 30-October 11, 2013. The exhibit will feature the work of several artist/scientist teams consisting of faculty from the School of Fine Arts and the departments of Biology, Geology, Medical Sciences, Psychology and Brain Sciences and Informatics. Each team will present a collaborative work that has its origins in scientific images, recordings or imaging techniques. These images are generated from the Light Microscopy Imaging Center at Indiana University, seismographic recordings of the tsunami in Japan, and new images created by plenoptic cameras.
