Workshop Discussion on Humanities Funding for Faculty and Graduate Students

Monday, February 25, 2019, 2:30pm

University Club, Indiana Memorial Union

On Monday, February 25, CAHI will host John Paul Christy, Director of Public Programs for the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS). Christy will meet with IU faculty in an open, workshop-style setting to discuss the range of funding opportunities offered by ACLS. This workshop will be held at the University Club of the IMU at 2:30pm

The American Council of Learned Societies has been at the forefront of efforts to reorient research in the humanities towards engagement with the public. And John Paul Christy has spearheaded these efforts. We encourage you to join us as Christy discusses ACLS, the ACLS/Mellon Public Fellows Program, and other developments in public humanities that he has seen in his six years at ACLS.

This event is presented by the College Arts and Humanities Institute. For more information, email cahi@indiana.edu.
