This program will involve a series of events, including a reading group on OOO and new materialism, panel discussions on OOO and the humanities featuring IU faculty and graduate students, and a culminating visit and lecture from Graham Harman, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). His first public lecture (March 22) will focus on OOO and literary criticism; during the second lecture (March 23), Harman will discuss his philosophy and most recent works.
