The Center for Eighteenth-Century Studies is delighted to host a symposium with Srinivas Aravamudan (Professor, English Department, and Dean of the Humanities, Duke University), author of Enlightenment Orientalism: Resisting the Rise of the Novel (Chicago, 2012), winner of this year’s Kenshur Book Prize for the best work in eighteenth-century studies. Other symposium participants include Kon Dierks (History, IU), Scott Juengel (English, Vanderbilt), and Jesse Molesworth (English, IU).
