FREE MOVIE SHOWING OF "GRASS"

This Thursday, February 28th in room 102 of the Fine Arts building at 8 PM, CALM is proud to present a free showing of Ron Mann's Film "GRASS". Narrated by Woody Harrelson, this docu-movie gives a history on the prohibition of marijuana, the longest running, most disobeyed prohibition of modern times. Utilizing archival footage of 1950s anti-drug propaganda films, 1960s hippie pot marches and1980s conservative political speeches, the film also serves as a portrait of marijuana in popular media over the last 50 years.

We will also be showing the CALM production "How To Avoid Warrantless Searches". This short informative film, directed by Josh Combs gives good pointers on how to protect your "Civil Rights" in situations where the police are going beyond their authority and attempting to search without a warrant. This film covers being stopped in a car, on foot or the police coming to your apartment/house.
