4/15/09: Elizabeth Wakefield receives an award from SMPC    
Congratulations to Elizabeth Wakefield, a graduate student in the CANLab. She is the recipient of a graduate student award from the Society for Music Perception and Cognition. She received her award and presented her research at the SMPC 2009 conference in Indianapolis, IN.  

3/1/09: Andrew Butler receives an award from CNS 
Congratulations to Andrew Butler, a third year graduate student in the CANLab. He is the recipient of the Graduate Student Present (GSP) award from the Cognitive Neuroscience Society. He received his award and presented his research at the 2009 CNS Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA.

12/5/08: CANLab Receives $1 Million NIH Grant :
Dr. Karin James, the CANLab director, was recently awarded a $1 million dollar grant from the National Institutes of Health to study developmental changes in children’s object recognition. This work is in collaboration with Dr. Susan Jones and Dr. Linda Smith. We are currently recruiting 18-24 month olds for these studies.
